Meet Uduak Enyiema
Uduak Enyiema is a dynamic senior leader with over a decade of experience in nonprofit executive leadership, operations management, and strategic fundraising. She has dedicated her career to fostering financial sustainability, driving mission-driven growth, and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion within organizations and communities.
Currently serving as the Vice President of Fund Development and Community Relations at Gándara Center, Uduak leads efforts to cultivate meaningful partnerships, secure sustainable funding, and elevate the organization's presence within the community. Her ability to develop innovative strategies has resulted in significant fundraising success, increased community engagement, and strengthened organizational impact.
Previously, Uduak served as Executive Director of Thames River Community Services, Inc., where she led transformative organizational growth. She implemented forward-thinking policies, optimized financial management practices, and forged strategic collaborations that expanded programs and services. Her leadership was instrumental in stabilizing and revitalizing the organization, ensuring it remained a pillar of support for those it served.
Prior to her role as Executive Director, Uduak spent over 16 years as a Program Director at Community Solutions, Inc., overseeing residential programs and operations. She successfully led teams, developed training initiatives, and maintained compliance with regulatory agencies, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. Her strategic approach to program development and resource management resulted in increased referrals, revenue growth, and an enhanced reputation within the sector.
Beyond her expertise in nonprofit governance and leadership, Uduak is a certified Scrum Master and Agile Coach, bringing a unique lens of innovation and adaptability to operational strategy and organizational change. Her ability to integrate agile methodologies into nonprofit and business environments has enabled teams to work more efficiently, solve complex challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
Passionate about education, community service, and fostering inclusive environments, Uduak has dedicated her career to breaking down systemic barriers and ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their background, have access to opportunities for success. She has worked closely with boards of directors, government agencies, and stakeholders to establish long-term strategies that align with both community needs and financial sustainability.
Her work has spanned public relations, financial management, program development, and stakeholder engagement, always guided by a commitment to transparency, integrity, and mission-driven leadership. Whether negotiating key contracts, driving organizational transformation, or developing impactful community outreach initiatives, Uduak’s strategic vision and leadership have consistently led to measurable, lasting change.

Outside of her professional career, Uduak is a dedicated mother to three sons, aged 25, 19, and 11. As a single mother, she understands the challenges of balancing career, family, and financial responsibilities, which has only strengthened her passion for advocating for policies that support working families and underrepresented communities.
A longtime resident of Agawam, Massachusetts, Uduak is deeply invested in the town’s future. She is committed to ensuring that all voices are heard, that leadership reflects the diversity of the community, and that every resident has a seat at the table.
With a Master’s degree in Pastoral Studies and Counseling from Liberty University, a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Tiffin University, and an extensive background in nonprofit leadership, operations, and fundraising, Uduak continues to be a driving force for meaningful, sustainable change.
Uduak finds her greatest joy in spending time with her three sons, mentoring emerging leaders, and embracing the richness of all cultures. She believes that true leadership is about lifting others up, creating opportunities, and ensuring that every person has a voice in shaping their community. With a heart for service and a vision for a stronger, more inclusive future, she remains dedicated to bringing people together, breaking down barriers, and building a community where everyone belongs.
